In the fall of 2003, the congregation of the of First Congregational Church voted to sell their existing church facility in downtown and relocate to a new high visibility site in the main access route to West Dundee.

The 25,000 square foot plan provides a 450 seat Sanctuary with an open and flexible narthex area, Fellowship Hall, Christian Education, Teen Loft Area Administration, and other support areas.

The project was completed in December of 2006.
